INVITATION TO SEMINAR - PRACTICAL GUIDE TO MEDIA LAW

Section 16, in collaboration with the Open Society Foundation for South Africa (OSF-SA) and Webber Wentzel Attorneys, invite you to attend the final seminar on Media and the Law.
Section 16 is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation which advocates for law reform in the area of freedom of expression and access to information. Its mandate is to defend and advance the right to freedom of expression and access to information in South Africa.
We have commissioned Dario Milo and Pamela Stein from Webber Wentzel Attorneys to write a Practical Guide to Media Law which is a book aimed at guiding journalists in their everyday work.
Section 16 held two seminars throughout 2012 on the content of the book where the media and interested stakeholders can learn about key issues pertaining to media law and discuss these issues directly with the writers of the book and Section 16. This is our third and final seminar in our series.
